Well, that went rather well, didn’t it? First club TT since September 2019!
Thanks to everyone for making it such a great success, marshals and riders alike!
A fine turnout of 15 riders congregated in a distanced fashion on a sunny but cold night, with an icy north easterly making it challenging to be a marshalling never mind racing!
Great to see some new faces and some first-time TT-ists.
There were some impressive times (given it’s early season and it wasn’t really a fast night), ridden on roughly 50:50 road bikes and TT machines.
Arran won it in a short 22, fantastic time for such an early season test!
Mention must go to Duncan, posting an excellent 24:51 for his first ever TT, on this tricky rolling course – brilliant! Likewise, Jacob made a superb shot at his first TT on a road bike, great stuff!
Welcome also to Tricia, going well on her road bike and a big well done to Oisin for almost going sub-29! – Update Oisin’s time corrected to 28:53. Congratulations!
And what a comeback Richard, posting the fastest road bike time, chapeau!
The times are as follows. RB = road bike.
