Handicap Championship
The handicap of each rider for each race will be calculated using the best time of that rider in Club races over the current year and the previous year for the distance of that race, where the race is over the same course. If no such time is available, each rider’s handicap will be calculated by the Racing Secretary by such method as he/she in his/her absolute discretion shall deem appropriate. Each rider who starts receives a point and points are awarded from 6 points for first place (after handicap) down to 1 point for sixth place and below.

Downhill MTB Championships (Overall, Junior and Youth)
Points will be awarded according to each rider’s time in the SDA listed events in the Club Calendar, from 25 points for first place down to 1 point for twenty-fifth place.

Audax Championship
For every Gala CC promoted Audax ridden, each rider will be awarded one point per 100km ridden. In the event of a tie after this, points accumulated in Audax UK’s Points table will be taken into account.
