Being of a westerly persuasion, we all got blown out to the turn (I swear I was on sub 20 pace at one point!) only to be punished on the return leg. Having said that, there was a fair bit of south in its direction so the trees and hedges did provide some shelter on the way back but the last uphill two miles were the usual block-headwind deep pain.

Maybe not a PB night but Arran blasted through the line at 22:19, Nathan second in 23:22 and Neil close behind at 23:40.
