A few of us racing this weekend it would seem!

I was down near Newcastle doing the Muckle CC road race.

It was crazy from the off with wind and rain fracturing the bunch, and the course itself doing a lot of the damage in reducing the size of the bunch drastically each lap.

I felt better as the race went on and found I was able to make the split each time riders were getting dropped on the short but steep climb to the finish, and after around 60 started there were only about 12 of us in the front at the finish.

It came to a drastically reduced bunch sprint and I came in for 4th.
